Wow I can’t believe the time has almost come for graduation. The other day I had my final advising appointment in Martin Hall at West Virginia University. I have been in college since the Fall of 2007 attending Marshall University for my Freshmen year. I transferred to West Virginia University for the Spring 2009 school year and have been here ever since. I must say I was never fond of WVU or Morgantown for that matter but in all honest reality it all grew on me after my many weekend visits to Morgantown when it went to Marshall. I am looking very forward to graduating and finding a career!
Boy have we had some crazy weather this winter. Now we are looking at flooding conditions!I will say this has been one of the nicest winters we have had when it comes to temperature and snowstorms. I really can’t think of a time this winter we’ve had over 3 inches of snow on the ground. But I’m not too sad about this.
A weather alert like this is something you would expect to see in April or May but its here at the end of February.

AT 330 PM EST… SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED OVER AN AREA TO THE EAST OF JACKSONBURG… MOVING EAST AT 50 MPH.
WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITHIN THIS AREA… AND ANY THUNDERSTORM CELLS THAT STRENGTHEN FURTHER COULD REACH SEVERE LEVELS.
IN ADDITION… RAINFALL AT THE RATE OF A HALF TO INCH PER HOUR COULD GENERATE MINOR FLOODING IN AREAS OF POOR DRAINAGE… ESPECIALLY OVER AREAS THAT RECEIVED HEAVIER RAIN THIS MORNING.
MOVE INDOORS WHEN THUNDERSTORMS APPROACH. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. IT TAKES ONLY A FEW INCHES OF SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERTO CARRY VEHICLES AWAY.
